Quality protective blanket for welding

 

SILTIG CARBO 6.5SILSI CARBO® 6.5 is a double layer protective blanket meant for the protection of the environment and equipment during hot work (welding, cutting, use of an open flame). It is made from annealed unwoven carbon fibers and 96% of silica fibers. The blanket is protected with an anti-abrasion silicone coating below, lined with an annealed aramid thread and fitted with nickeled brass rings on the corners.

The upper layer is made from light annealed and fire-resistant carbon fibers, that excellently isolate heat from spaying particles from liquid metal and is resistant to flame up to 1250°C for 30 seconds.

The lower silica layer is resistant to a constant temperature of 950°C, endures much higher temperatures for a shorter time and has a melting point of 1600°C.

 

SILSI CARBO® 6.5 is in accordance with the international standard for hot work:
